Yoga Foundations: A Beginner's Course for Coming Home to Your Body
If yoga has always felt intimidating, too advanced, or like something for other people, this course is built for exactly where you're starting from.
I'm a certified yoga teacher and a somatic counsellor, and I teach yoga a little differently: not just as movement, but as a way of working directly with your nervous system. Every posture, breath, and moment of stillness in this course is taught with that in mind.
What's Inside
Foundations — the basics of yoga, how to practice safely, and the philosophy behind it, explained simply, with no assumed experience.
Postures — beginner-friendly poses built up slowly, with attention to alignment and what's actually happening in your body as you move.
Pranayama — breathing techniques that calm your nervous system, not just your mind.
Meditation — simple, approachable practices for people who think they "can't meditate."
Who This Is For
Complete beginners who've never stepped on a mat
People who feel disconnected from their bodies
Anyone managing anxiety, stress, or a nervous system that's often "on"
Those who've tried yoga apps or videos before and felt lost or unsupported
Why Learn With Me
I'm not only a certified yoga teacher, I also work as a somatic counsellor, integrating IFS, ACT, and nervous system-focused therapy into my clinical practice. This course brings that same lens to yoga: grounded, trauma-informed, and paced for real bodies, not performance.
