My story

From Brazil to Sydney - and everything in between

I know what it is to arrive somewhere new and have to rebuild yourself from the ground up - to navigate the disorientation of not quite belonging, to grieve what was left behind, and to find your way back to yourself in unfamiliar ground. My own experiences with transition, migration, loss, and motherhood have shaped not just who I am, but how I practise. I don't come to this work as a distant expert. I come as someone who has sat in that same uncertainty, and found ways through."I understand what it means to rebuild a life in a new country - to adapt, to grieve, to find yourself again."I hold a Psychology degree from Brazil and am a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). My clinical training spans somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems, EFT Tapping, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and breathwork - alongside a personal practice in Hatha yoga, Pranayama, and Ayurvedic living.

What guides my practice

I work from the understanding that the body holds what the mind hasn't yet been able to process. Trauma, grief, anxiety, and disconnection are not signs that something is wrong with you - they are often signs of a nervous system that has been under pressure for a long time.My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and genuinely integrative. I don't apply a formula. I follow each person carefully, meeting them where they are - culturally, emotionally, somatically.I work with individuals and couples online across Australia. Sessions are available in English and Portuguese.
